<p>As we get older it is natural to experience difficulty with normal, daily, routine tasks that were once easy to perform; or so we are taught anyway. See as we get older our body&#8217;s age. Without proper care they will become weak and frail begin to depreciate. If we do not change the way we care for ourselves, and our bodies, then we will age in a way that is quite disgraceful. Contrary to popular belief, and regardless of age, these matters can be taken into your own hands and by doing so you will keep yourself in good health.<br />
<span id="more-1000"></span><br />
When we are young we tend to think &#8211; whether consciously or not &#8211; that we are invincible and that we will never get old. Because of this we tend to ignore the warnings of eating right and exercising properly; this is where the decline actually begins. A focus on good health is &#8211; typically &#8211; nowhere to be found in youth.</p>
<p>Being in good health does not just mean a &#8220;clean bill of health&#8221; from the doctor; it means that you have maintained a healthy muscle mass to fat ratio too. We are born with a certain degree of good health and a solid muscle foundation; but over time, this muscle begins to deteriorate. This may not sound so bad, but this means that you also lose your actual strength as well. Because this is a slow process the changes are not noticeable until many, many years later when good health may already be at risk.</p>
<p>But, rest assured, it has been proven that this decay of muscle and good health is happening. To maintain good health one must keep also maintain a healthy muscle to fat ratio. This means that you need to have more muscle than fat, and by quite a bit. This gets more difficult as you age because with the loss of lean muscle mass comes the gain of fat &#8211; unseen fat. Over time you will finally see changes in your body shape that are not really appealing to the human eye.</p>
<p>One of the most noticeable changes is the waist increase; another is the loss of definition in the arms, buttocks, and legs. If and when you see these &#8220;symptoms&#8221; it is time to stop playing around and do something in order to regain your good health and physique. Shocking that skinnier arms and legs may not be a good sign, but skinnier is not always better. In fact, thighs are your largest muscle group and probably the most important to this entire process.</p>
<p>A physical change might not mean much to some, while it means the world to others. But, it should. This physical change is a sign that you are losing that precious good health. Along with this loss comes the loss of physical strength and, down the road, the ability or will to do common things on your own. Think, long and hard. Would you rather be sitting on the balcony sipping tea with your friends, when you are old, or rusting away in an assisted living center because you can no longer fend for yourself?</p>
<p>It is important that you focus on good health now, while you still can, if you want to enjoy the final years of your life. Without proper strength training exercises you will find that you are not enjoying tea in your later years. Finding a mere 20-30 minutes 2-3 times a week to challenge and push your muscles is all it takes to preserve, not only your good health, but your sexy physique too. <p>Health is in fact like a game, but far more dangerous than playing Monopoly. When growing up in our younger days most of us played the odd game of Monopoly. There is some talent required to win, and you had to make wise choices by investing in various utilities as the game went along. The journey of our lives is not unlike playing games where it can take us in different directions.</p>
<p>As the game and the rolling of the dice continues, it becomes more obvious about the choices we made earlier in the game. In our daily lives we all are rolling a dice one way or another. It depends on the choices we make. We may not actually see the numbers in front of our eyes, nevertheless the numbers are there.<br />

Making choices about health is also a numbers game and we are making them every day, knowingly or unknowingly, right ones or wrong ones. <p>Most of us do have some sort of problem with our skin&#8217;s complexion. There are the few lucky people who have near-perfect skin tone and color, and who never break out with an acne blemish, and yet their skin stays perpetually moisture balanced and clear.</p>

<p>Various, healthy, cheap and easy ways to eat breakfast are:</p>
<p>    * Egg-stuffed whole-grain pita or tortilla with American cheese, sage sausage, and salsa with a glass of juice<br />
    * Cottage cheese with fruit and nuts with a glass of juice<br />
    * Fruit Smoothie made with honey, mango, and other sweet tropical fruits with a whole-grain muffin<br />

<p>The digestive tract is filled with mucous that helps food to pass smoothly through a long line of intestines. When food is introduced that is hard to digest, more mucous is formed to help push the clumpy food down.</p>
<p>After nutrients and fluids are absorbed by the hair-like lining in the intestines, the waste is pushed on to the colons for further absorption and drying. Too much mucous anywhere along this long trail leads to slowing and backup of fecal material just like we see backups on the highway at rush hour. Over time, old, leftover mucous gets pasty, turns to glue, and hardens sticking to the walls of the intestines and colons like plaque on dirty teeth.</p>
<p>That is why it is so important to get fibrous foods like whole grains and fruit down first thing in the morning and before bed. Whole grains get the digestive tract moving for the day and add even more valuable nutrients not found in other coagulating foods like meat and dairy. Eating healthy reduces health-care costs by preventing cancers, heart disease, and obesity.</p>
<p>But where is healthy breakfast food served? Fried potatoes, breads, biscuits, tortillas, gravies, and breaded, fried meats make a plate at the local restaurant or cafe look big, but those foods also make Americans look big everywhere they waddle.</p>
<p>Because this is not the culturally popular way to eat, healthy people must eat at home or catch the continental breakfast at a motel. At least motel management will see that there is hot and cold whole-grain cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit to choose from at most inns.</p>
<p>Conclusively, there must not be much profit in getting America to eat healthy. Most Americans leave the motel feeling like they haven&#8217;t eaten because they do not have a big, greasy clump in their gut that wears them down all day to cuddle.</p>
